Annual Golf Tournament a Swinging Success!
What a great day on the course! Our Annual Golf Tournament was a tremendous success, filled with
sunshine, laughter, and friendly competition,

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us, our golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters,
for making this event such a wonderful celebration of community. Your participation helps strengthen our mission to serve families with compassion, care, and hope.

Thanks to your generosity and enthusiasm, the tournament was more than just a day of golf;
it was a reminder of what’s possible when friends and families come together to make a difference.
We look forward to seeing you again next year for another unforgettable day on the greens!

JUST LIKE ANYONE ELSE,  people with disabilities want to be independent.

And just like everyone else, persons with disabilities need opportunities to learn and grow throughout adulthood.

As family members, guardians and friends of individuals served by Life Centers of Kansas, we actively pursue and support those activities that enhance the quality of life experienced by our loved ones with intellectual and developmental disabilities

As a nonprofit organization, we work with the clients of Life Centers (a residential and day service provider in Johnson County KS) offering programs that encourage the development of positive group home experiences, create opportunities for involvement in community events, offer financial assistance through museum memberships, and provide necessities for clients with little to no family support.

Our organization provides education and information for families of Life Center clients regarding health issues, financial planning, guardianship plans, and advocacy skills. We believe that families deserve care and support. Their influence is on-going and essential to the health and well-being of their special needs family member.

The Friends and Family organization is governed by a twelve-member volunteer Board of Directors. All Directors are family members and/or guardians of a special needs adult receiving services from Life Centers of Kansas.
