Because independence and joy shouldn't stop at adulthood.

Just like anyone else, people with disabilities want to be independent.

And just like everyone else, people with disabilities need opportunities to learn and grow throughout adulthood. As family members, guardians, and friends of individuals served by Life Centers of Kansas, we actively pursue and support activities that enhance the quality of life experienced by our loved ones with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

We work with the clients and staff of Life Centers — a residential and day service provider in Johnson County, KS — offering programs that encourage positive group-home experiences, create opportunities for community involvement, provide museum and recreation memberships, and supply necessities for clients with little to no family support.

We also provide education for families on health issues, financial planning, guardianship, and advocacy — because families deserve care and support too. FFLCKS is governed by an eight-member volunteer Board of Directors, all of whom are family members and/or guardians of an adult receiving Life Centers services.
